About the Museum
The Casa das Rosas - Espaço Haroldo de Campos de Poesia e Literatura is a museum dedicated to poetry, literature, culture and the preservation of the bibliographic collection of the poet Haroldo de Campos, one of the creators of concrete poetry in the 1950s. Located on the emblematic Avenida Paulista, the space carries out intense programming of activities, such as workshops and literary criticism, lectures, debates, exhibitions, literary and musical presentations, serenades, book launches, performances and theatrical presentations, among others. The museum operates in one of the rare remaining mansions of the initial Paulista era, built in 1935 by the Ramos de Azevedo office. By associating a historical and architectural patrimony of the city with the legacy of one of the main representatives of our avant-garde movements, Casa das Rosas represents the transformations both urban and social as artistic and cultural of São Paulo.
