About the Museum

The Colección de Escultura Contemporánea is a collection of contemporary Spanish sculpture founded in the 1980s and 1990s. The Collection aspires to showcase the development of Spanish sculpture since the middle of the 20th century. Initially created by RENFE, the Spanish transportation organization, the Collection was later divided between managing company Adif and RENFE in 2005 in accordance with the Railway Sector Law.
