About the Museum

A leading non-profit arts organization in New York City, Creative Time is dedicated to innovative, site-specific, socially engaged public works. Since 1973, Creative Time has collaborated with thousands of artists including Takashi Murakami, Shirin Neshat and Vik Muniz in sites across New York, the U.S. and the world. Notable recent projects include Julian Laverdiere and Paul Myoda’s Tribute in Light and Kara Walker's A Subtlety as well as the annual Creative Time Summit which convenes artists, theorists, activists and more to explore themes at the intersection of art and politics.
