About the Museum

Hacienda La Trinidad Cultural Park is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting the development and appreciation of culture in a space in which nature, history and the arts come together to create an environment conducive to learning. Located in the southeast of Caracas, in the grounds of the old Hacienda La Trinidad (one of the oldest cacao-producing estates in the country), it covers 15,000 square meters that include buildings and natural landscape.

In 2005, the Institute of Cultural Heritage declared this property as an Asset of Cultural Interest of the Municipality of Baruta. Today, the Hacienda La Trinidad Cultural Park aims to preserve the past while interacting with the present. The Treasury House holds exhibits and cultural events, the old Seed House is an alternative health center, the Trapiche serves as an artist workshop and residence, and seven drying rooms feature traditional crafts, contemporary art and design, a restaurant, an event space, a bookstore and gift shop, and a lab that researches the history of cacao.
