About the Museum
The Miami Children’s Museum (MCM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational institution, which meets the needs of all children in its multicultural community. The museum offers interactive exhibits, programs, and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication. MCM encourages visitors of all ages to play, learn, imagine, and create together. Miami Children’s Museum (MCM) is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning through play and enabling children to realize their highest potential. It is the museum's vision to be recognized as a premier institution serving children and their families while inspiring children to learn about themselves and the culturally diverse community we live in through art, science, literacy and early childhood education. MCM serves as a model for children’s museum in the 21st century by mobilizing the community and partnering with civic leaders and organizations to address the needs of children and their families. It partners with other children’s museums, cultural institutions and community and national organizations to highlight topics such as literacy, science, culture, history, careers, environment, and much more through arts programming.
