Guillaume Bruère, 23.01.2018 (12), 70 × 50 cm, 2018 Inspired by El Bosco, Hieronimus Van Aeken. Meditations of San Juan Bautista (ca. 1495) from the Lázaro Galdiano Museum Collection.

The "extreme artist" Guillaume Bruère (Châtellereault, France, 1976) interprets with drawings a selection of the masterpieces of the Lázaro Galdiano Museum that are exhibited along with the originals, covering all the floors of the Museum from February 7.

For almost ten years this Berlin-based artist has drawn in numerous museums such as the Louvre, the Alte Pinakothek , the Gemäldegalerie or the Kunsthaus Zürich and on this occasion he exhibits in the Lázaro Galdiano Museum a selection of more than thirty drawings made with pencil, pastel and watercolor on paper.
