About the Museum

Comprising nearly 4,250 works, this museum’s collection is the most comprehensive representation of Pablo Picasso’s early years of apprenticeship and youth. Its richness offers visitors the opportunity to appreciate the artist’s early progress and understand the various processes involved in the experimentation that accompanied his oeuvre. Of particular interest is the series Las Meninas, as well as a considerable collection of prints and ceramics, most of which were donated by Jacqueline Picasso in 1982.
