About the Museum
The Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok exhibits the private collection of Boonchai Bencharongkul. The collection focuses on art inspired by traditional Thai modes of expression as well as art that has been influenced by the introduction of Western styles and techniques. With over 800 works in the collection, the museum offers 20,000 square meters of exhibition space. MOCA Bangkok aims to provide insight into the nation of Thailand and its people through artistic expression. It preserves and exhibits the work of Thai artists and educates the public on Thai art and culture.
