This exhibition features the work of Neil Goodman, an American artist known for his innovative, monumental bronze sculptures. The retrospective will present works spanning four decades of the artist’s oeuvre. Goodman is widely known in the Chicago, IL and Gary, IN regions of the US and his work is featured in numerous museums as well as private and public collections. Over the course of his career, Goodman has had more than 40 solo exhibitions. He has lectured both nationally and internationally, and his work has been written about and reviewed in numerous catalogs and periodicals including Art Forum, Art in America, Art News, and Sculpture Magazine.
"This exhibition takes us back to our roots as a sculpture museum," said Museum of Outdoor Art President and Executive Director, Cynthia Madden Leitner. "The breadth of work that we will be presenting in this intimate exhibition will allow our patrons to have a deeper connection with both the artist and bronze as a material."
