The exhibition in the Park-Villa Rieter shows more than 200 years old paintings of impressive quality, delicacy and elegance.
Outside of India, the Rietberg Museum is one of the leading institutions in the field of Indian painting, in particular works from the Pahari region, the eastern Himalayas off the Indian valleys. The exhibition honors Eva and Konrad Seitz, who donated a significant portion of their collection of Indian art to the museum. The more than 200 years old paintings are of impressive quality, delicacy and elegance.
