The National Museum of Natural History and Science is the natural history museum located in Lisbon, Portugal. It has existed in some form since 1768. Its collection includes items pertaining to zoology, anthropology, geology and botany, with a total of over 620,000 objects. It is connected with the University of Lisbon whose relationship began in the early 20th century. It is located next to the Botanic Garden. It has numerous different exhibitions, which are temporary and permanent.
