On view between September 18 – December 8, 2018, Earth Works: Mapping the Anthropocene will feature 22 works by Justin Brice Guariglia. Guariglia is a transdisciplinary artist who, in 2015 and 2016, flew seven times with NASA as part of Operation Ice Bridge (a survey mission of Greenland) to study how melting glaciers affect the rise of sea levels.
For Earth Works, USC Fisher Museum of Art will be collaborating with neighboring Natural History Museum of Los Angeles where a large scale work from the exhibition will be displayed.
