About the Museum
Rich and diverse, Brazilian culture is the fruit of the great human and aesthetic potential of our people, reflecting the syncretism, traditions and values of all regions. Aware of this reality, Caixa Cultural São Paulo maintains a constant dialogue with its cultural roots, fostering diversity and sponsoring the holding of events in its spaces, such as music, theater, dance, visual arts exhibitions, among others.
Aware of its role as a socially responsible company that stimulates inclusion and citizenship, Caixa seeks to bring to the cultural universe students from public schools, seniors and people with special needs through the Arte Arteira art education program. Caixa offers Brazilians access to a diversity of manifestations of national art and culture, as well as stimulating cultural exchange and exchange of experiences, sponsoring events by artists from all over the world. In view of the challenging task of disseminating culture in all corners of the country, Caixa installed Caixa Cultural units in seven capitals: Brasília, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador and São Paulo. All this shows Caixa's determination to invest in culture and spread the work of Brazilian artists, always prioritizing the most genuine national productions.
