Fabergé Museum

Reflecting the sheer opulence of Russia’s imperial age, the Fabergé Museum in St. Petersburg’s Shuvalov Palace holds the most impressive collection of works by Peter Carl Fabergé in the world. Nine of the 50 imperial eggs ever created are displayed together with snuff boxes, figurines and other objets d’art from the famed House of Fabergé. The museum also shows a unique collection of enamels and religious icons, porcelain and paintings by prominent Russian and European artists, in addition to mounting various temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
