The Foundation E.G. Bührle Collection was established by the Bührle family to display the collection of Emil Georg Bührle. His collection of works includes important European sculpture and paintings.

The collection includes works from many prominent artists including; Pierre Bonnard, Georges Braque, Henri Matisse, and Pablo Picasso. The majority of the collection compromises mainly French impressionist and post impressionist works.
