August 1st 2017 is the 90th anniversary of the Chinese National Army Day. To celebrate it, Long Museum holds an exhibition with a patriotic theme to portray the spirit of the soldiers in the past through artists’ brushstrokes. These classic works contain unique historical and cultural values. The exhibition takes place at Long Museum (Pudong), from August 1st 2017 to January 31st 2018. It is a review of the national history, showing the spirit and character of the revolutionary era, while reminding us that the core spirit of China of unity, fearlessness and advancement continues. The exhibition consists hundreds of artworks, including oil paintings and prints, representing works from different periods since the 1930s. It is divided into four parts: Lay the cornerstone for the times, Serve the society, Train and consolidate the revolution, and Inheritance in the development.
