About the Museum

Situated right in the middle of the Mont des Arts, the Palais des Beaux-Arts is the most visited cultural destination in the city of Brussels. Often referred to as ‘Bozar’ (a homophone of "Beaux-arts") or ‘PSK’, the building includes a recital room, a chamber music room, lecture rooms, a vast gallery for temporary exhibitions and a large concert hall, which serves as home to the National Orchestra of Belgium. Creativity, quality, and artistic diversity have been at the heart of Bozar’s mission since its foundation. Seven artistic departments develop the the Palais des Beaux-Arts programs: Bozar Expo, Bozar Music, Bozar Cinema, Bozar Dance, Bozar Theatre, Bozar Literature, Bozar Studios and Bozar Architecture. Up to 10 exhibitions a year are organized at the venue, which have included renown artists such as Jeff Wall, Luc Tuymans, Frida Kahlo, Lucas Cranach, Gilbert and George and Wim Delvoye.
