About the Museum
The Luckman Fine Arts Complex is committed to providing an accessible and diverse resource for the professional arts to the Cal State LA campus and to Los Angeles audiences. It was founded under the belief that art has the power to bring communities closer together, and since its inaugural exhibition in 1994, it has emerged as one of the most respected art spaces in Los Angeles. The visual and performing arts events The Luckman presents, exhibits, and produces are chosen due of the artist’s commitment to interpret the intricacies of our world’s past, present, and future human endeavors. The Luckman Gallery is a 3,600 square foot space located at the top of the Street of the Arts at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex that presents contemporary art exhibitions that have garnered national and international press attention.
