The National Museum of Saudi Arabia

About the Museum

Established in 1999, the National Museum of Saudi Arabia is part of the King Abdulaziz Historical Center in Riyadh and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia. Housed within a two story, modernist building, the museum is dedicated to Arabian history, culture and art. The eight galleries display evocative rock carvings, engaging models and a full-scale reconstruction of a Nabataean tomb from Madain Saleh as well as an extensive collection of manuscripts, artifacts, and antiquities.
