Located where the High Line meets Hudson Yards in Manhattan, The Shed will be the first multi-arts center designed to commission, produce, and present all types of performing arts, visual arts, and popular culture. From hip hop to classical music, visual art to literature, film to theater and dance, with collaborations across these disciplines and others, The Shed will bring together leading artists from all art forms under one roof.

From May 1 to 13, The Shed will present A Prelude to The Shed, a free, two-week arts event on a flexible temporary site at Tenth Avenue and 30th Street in Manhattan, one block from The Shed's permanent home opening in spring 2019.
