Inside David Diao's Exhibition at the UCCA
Through his symbolic painterly rhetoric, David Diao transforms the formal language of New York abstraction through his personal narrative. Born in Chengdu in 1943, David Diao left mainland China for Hong Kong in 1949, later settling in America where he has lived for nearly six decades. In this video, take a tour around Great Hall, the artist's exhibition at the UCCA. This video was produced by the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art.
